At Historic Lutz Cemetery, caring for a cemetery means caring for far more than the grounds. It means caring for families, preserving history, honoring those who came before us, and protecting a place that has been part of the Lutz community since 1911.

Our team brings together cemetery operations, grounds care, family services, historical preservation, community outreach, and veteran remembrance. While our responsibilities may be different, we share one purpose: to care for the people, stories, and legacies entrusted to us. 

We believe families deserve compassion and personal attention, veterans deserve to be remembered, history deserves to be preserved, and our cemetery should remain a meaningful part of the community for generations to come.

Much of what we do happens quietly - helping a family find a gravesite, preparing for a service, caring for a monument, researching an old cemetery record, placing flowers or flags, maintaining the grounds, or simply taking the time to listen when someone needs our help.
