Celebrating Those Who Stand With Us
Historic places endure because people choose to care about them. At Historic Lutz Cemetery, we are incredibly grateful for the individuals, families, businesses, civic organizations, and community partners who have stepped forward to support a place that has been part of the Lutz story for more than 115 years.
Our sponsors and donors are more than names on a list. They are partners in preservation. Their generosity helps us honor the people who came before us, care for this historic property, recognize our veterans' service, educate future generations, and keep creating meaningful spaces where families and community can gather, remember, and reflect.
Every contribution represents someone saying, “This place matters.” It is a vote of confidence in our mission and an investment in the future of a local historical treasure. Whether that support comes through a financial gift, project sponsorship, donated materials or services, volunteerism, or a community partnership, each act of generosity becomes part of the continuing story of Historic Lutz Cemetery.
To those whose names and organizations you will see throughout this page: thank you for believing in what we are building and helping us care for what generations before us left in our hands. We are proud to recognize you, grateful to have you beside us, and honored that together we are ensuring Historic Lutz Cemetery remains a place
Where Legacies Live.
Each tree in the Tree Hero Garden represents more than a beautiful addition to Historic Lutz Cemetery—it represents someone who chose to invest in the future of this historic place. We are deeply grateful to the families, individuals, businesses, and community organizations whose sponsorships help us create a living legacy that grows more beautiful with every passing year. Their generosity helps transform our grounds while providing shade, beauty, and a lasting connection between today’s community and the generations who will visit after us. We are proud to recognize our Tree Heroes and thank them for helping us plant something today that will continue to tell a story for decades to come.
30 Lavender Crepe Myrtle Trees have been placed at Historic Lutz Cemetery. 16 of the trees have been sponsored. There are 15 more trees available. Please support our fundraiser and sponsor a tree today.
