Explore the Many Ways
Preserve. Honor. Serve.
Volunteers
Lutz Cemetery is more than a final resting place - it is a sacred piece of our community's heritage. As a non-profit organization owned and operated by The American Legion Post 108, we depend on the generosity and dedication of volunteers to help maintain the dignity, beauty, and history of this special place.
Whether you're a student, retiree, veteran, or community member looking to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to join us in service.
Sponsors & Donations
Lutz Cemetery stands today as a peaceful, dignified resting place because of the generous support of individuals, families, and organizations who believe in honoring the past and preserving history for the future. As a non-profit cemetery operated by The American Legion Post 108, we rely entirely on the contributions of our community. Without donors and sponsors, the continued care, restoration, and development of this historic cemetery would not be possible.

Why Sponsor or Donate?
Unlike private or municipal cemeteries, Lutz Cemetery receives no steady government funding. Every landscaped path, restored headstone, trimmed tree, and flag placed at a veteran's grave is made possible through charitable giving.
Your Financial Support Directly Impacts:
Ongoing Grounds Maintenance
Keeping the cemetery clean, safe, and serene year-round.
Veteran Recognition
Providing flags, plaques, and ceremonies to honor those who served.
Preservation of History
Restoring aged headstones, digitizing records, and protecting a century of stories.
New Memorial Projects
Including Veterans Honor Garden, Legacy Lane, and other meaningful spaces for reflection and remembrance.
A Legacy of Giving
When you sponsor or donate to Lutz Cemetery, you are not just funding maintenance - you are investing in legacy. Your gift ensures that loved ones are honored with dignity, and that future generations will walk these paths knowing their community remembers and respects those who came before.
Whether it's a one-time donation or an ongoing sponsorship, your generosity makes a lasting difference.
Lutz Cemetery survives because of people like you.
It thrives because of the heart you put into it.
