About Lutz Cemetery
From our Family to Yours
Meet Lisa Sargent
Originally from Michigan, Lisa and her high school sweetheart began their journey together before relocating to California, just north of San Diego. There they built their careers, raised their family, and created a life filled with hard work and community. Nine years ago, a new opportunity brought the Sargent family to Florida, where they discovered something special in the heart of Lutz.
As entrepreneurs, Lisa and her husband have worked in the Lutz area for the past four years. It was the community's welcoming spirit and small-town charm that inspired them to put down roots and call Lutz home. While supporting her family's business, Lisa made it a priority to connect with local business owners and residents. She enjoys exploring the community, meeting new people, and sharing her experiences through her extensive and highly regarded Google reviews.
Lisa joined Lutz Cemetery because she was looking for a meaningful way to serve others. She has a genuine passion for helping people and providing support during both life's celebrations and its most difficult moments. Her compassionate nature, warm personality, and ability to put families at ease have made her a valued member of the Lutz Cemetery team.
Whether you are exploring burial options, considering pre-planning, or simply looking to learn more about the cemetery, Lisa provides personalized tours and private consultations tailored to your family's needs. Families appreciate her patient, no-pressure approach and her commitment to ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
In addition to serving families, Lisa oversees many of the cemetery's community outreach initiatives, including youth education programs, the Florida Legacy Project, and the cemetery's annual Wreaths Across America events. Through these efforts, she helps preserve local history, honor our veterans, and strengthen the connections that make Lutz such a special community.

A Place For Veterans To Call Home.
The American Legion Post 108 is proud to call Plantation Palms Golf Club Home. The management and staff of this premier semi-private golf course have embraced our Post with open arms offering a free social membership to all American Legion Post 108 members.
Since its founding, American Legion Post 108 in Land O' Lakes has proudly served veterans and the Lutz community. As caretakers of historic Lutz Cemetery since 2024, we maintain this sacred ground with reverence, ensuring proper tribute to veterans and local families. Our members - veterans from all branches of service - uphold the Legion's mission of patriotism, remembrance, and community service.
Beyond cemetery stewardship, Post 108 actively supports veterans' welfare, youth programs, and patriotic initiatives. We host memorial ceremonies, provide veteran assistance resources, and foster camaraderie among those who served. The Legion's commitment to "Veterans Strengthening America" is evident in our cemetery preservation, community outreach, and advocacy for those who have defended our nation.
We invite all eligible veterans to join our ranks and community members to support our mission of honoring service and preserving local history.
